If you decide that Hope Village will someday be right for you, but just not yet, we invite you to place your name on our intent list. All that’s required to secure your place is a $500 deposit with application, which is refunded to you once you move into your Garden Home or Cottage Home.
Remain on the intent list for as long as you wish. If a Garden Home or Cottage Home comes available and you’re still not ready, you will still keep your place on the list. When a home matching your needs is open, Hope Village will contact you in priority order on the list with the opportunity to claim your place on your schedule.

Hope Village offers you the opportunity to reside in your Garden Home or Cottage Home on a Life Lease basis. Compared to a traditional purchase or monthly rental, your Life Lease provides you with the security of these advantages:
- Keep your home for as long as you wish and are able to enjoy independent living. When you do leave, a portion of your Life Lease amount is refunded to you, your estate or designated beneficiaries.
- You’ve got security of tenure with no set end-of-lease date – your home stays your home.
- Landscaping and upkeep are covered by Hope Village’s professional maintenance staff as part of your monthly fees.
- Come and go without worry as staff maintain your home so you are free to travel.
