Community Center Renovation and Expansion
The Hope Village Board of Directors recently approved the renovation and expansion of the campus Community Center, a project that represents a major step forward in the organization’s mission to help older adults live with independence, dignity, and connection.
This renovated center will become the vibrant heart of Hope Village: a place where residents can gather, learn, create, find support, and build meaningful relationships.

Hope Village Announces Renovation and Addition of Its Campus Community Center
The Hope Village Board of Directors recently approved the renovation and expansion of the campus Community Center—a project that represents a major step forward in the organization’s mission to help older adults live with independence, dignity, and connection.
This renovated center will become the vibrant heart of Hope Village: a place where residents can gather, learn, create, find support, and build meaningful relationships. It will house new supportive services, such as primary care and physical therapy clinics that make aging in place easier and help meet the evolving needs of current and future residents. Most importantly, it will offer warm, welcoming spaces where people can feel part of something larger.
By investing in the community center now, we’re strengthening the foundation for thoughtful future growth, including plans to add more housing in the coming years. We’re preparing not just for the residents we serve today, but for those who will join us tomorrow.
New Features and Amenities
- Bistro (coffee and drinks, breakfast and lunch, made-to-order, grab and go items)
- Two new flexible meeting room and activity spaces
- Expanded medical clinic
- Physical Therapy office and enlarged fitness space
- Spiritual room for quiet reflection and small group gatherings
- Large multi-use quilting, crafting and arts center with secure storage
- Outdoor seating areas (front of building, back courtyard)
- Separate, adjacent building for resident donation items and storage
- Enhanced auditorium performance space with state-of-the-art audio-visual features (including for those with hearing loss or vision impairments)
- Outdoor play area for children
- Large dog and small dog play areas
- Outdoor pavilion space
- Front-entry no-curb drop off zone
- Large-screen interconnectivity between rooms to handle overflow crowds from auditorium
- Expanded game room
Timeline
Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2026 and finish in the Fall of 2027. Watch this space for updates throughout the project.
