Larissa Tiede, MBA, MASLH, RCFA

Executive Director

Larissa serves as the executive director of Hope Village and holds a Residential Care Facility Administrator license in the state of Oregon. She previously worked for a large Minnesota-based senior living provider as a licensed assisted living director.

Prior to working in the senior living industry, Larissa held marketing and communications leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies and large non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a Master of Arts in Senior Living Hospitality from the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California.

Larissa and her husband Travis are obsessed with the beauty of Oregon and try to spend as much time as they can outside exploring the state’s natural wonders and incredible food scene. Larissa adores all the small farms, wineries, and ranches across Oregon and deeply believes in supporting these small businesses by buying locally.

Frank Howard

Director of New Development and Construction

Frank leads Hope Village’s new development and construction and serves as project manager as the organization continues to grow and increase the number of seniors served. Frank was born and raised in the Canby area and has lived within 15 miles of his family home his entire life. He has always enjoyed working and has spent most of his career owning and operating a small landscape business. He has worked for Hope Village for 13 years. When he’s not working, Frank enjoys fishing, hiking and anything that is outdoors. He has been married to his wife Ruth for 44 years and is looking forward to the next 20 years with her. His son, Ian, works at Hope Village as part of the Blue Crew, and his daughter, Riley, leads the HR department at Wilcox Arrendondo. Faith, family and friends are the most important things to Frank. Frank attended Western Oregon State College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education.

Tina Schimpf

Marketing Manager

Tina Schimpf serves as the Marketing Manager for Hope Village. Tina has been a part of the team since late 2018 and enjoys her interactions with the residents who live here, as well as showing off our campus to guests.

Tina has lived in Canby for 28 years and has raised her son Colton, (who lives in Hubbard with his wife Kaitlyn) and two daughters Calli and Riley in this amazing community. They have a busy life outside of Hope Village – both girls are on the Canby High School dance team and sing in the choir. They enjoy rodeos, car shows and camping at the lake with friends and family.

In 2016, Tina was recognized as the Chamber’s Ambassador of the year, a testament to her commitment to connecting with and supporting fellow residents and business owners. She is currently the Chamber President.

Tina can also be found volunteering at the Canby Rodeo and throughout the community demonstrating her deep appreciation for the area and its residents.

Jose Ramirez

Facilities Supervisor (Maintenance and Landscaping)

Jose leads the facilities team responsible for all maintenance and landscaping of Hope Village’s beautiful and still expanding 48-acre campus. He has worked for the Blue Crew for ten years. Jose started at Hope Village doing outdoor landscaping. Later as Maintenance Lead, Jose worked his way up by showing his proficiency and work aptitude for both outside and inside projects. His likable, congenial personality and genuine interest in senior residents were definite assets. His smile and good humor assure residents Jose is willing to “go the extra mile to help.”

Jose says he loves working for Hope Village because he enjoys landscaping and helping with maintenance. This involves overseeing and communicating with contractors building the new cottages.

Jose and his wife Hilda have a daughter, Chanel, who is in elementary school. Jose enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and playing with their dog, Kona. Their family enjoys going to the beach in Lincoln City, Seaside and Neskowin.

Rebecca

Administrative Coordinator

Rebecca provides administrative support for the residents, the staff and the Board of Directors. She has been with Hope Village since September of 2018 and keeps the office running smoothly. Prior to this position, Rebecca owned a sawmill and a furniture company. Rebecca enjoys spending time with family, going for walks, watching basketball games and enjoying all the local activities in the Fall. Discover activities at Hope Village

Grounds and Maintenance
